theBLVD gathers five of today's leading comic book and entertainment design professionals into a virtual studio. Although each of the artists choose to reside in different states around the country, they’ve embraced modern technologies and shipping methods that make distances shorter, and idea sharing instantaneous. Storytelling is the bond that ties them together, and they are each but a mere email, ftp, or phone-call away.

First conceived as a lazy and fun way to hang out with fellow comic creators and friends during the convention tours, theBLVD began as a consolidation of talent into a single stretch of tables in various artist alleys. This allowed them to share ideas and recent work with peers and fans alike.
